Burridge's Compositional Designs
In addition to some of the basic strategies for arranging successful photographs, there are some more complex compositional strategies that can be used to create visual interest. Let's take at look at some Compositional Designs as suggested by artist Robert Burridge.
Practicing the Compositional Designs: (10 marks)
Using Burridge's Compositional Designs, try arranging still life objects these 10 different ways (use the handout to remind you of the various arrangements). Please upload all 10 examples and label them on your website under your "Photography" tab on a page called "Compositional Designs." Each successfully completed composition will receive 1 mark - so be sure to try each one! Also, these photos will lead into our first Photography assignment in the next section.
